A former fourth round pick by the Twins, Gray will enter his first season with the Boomers in 2024. The left-handed hitter reached Triple-A during his time with the Twins and played in 10 MLB Spring Training games this spring. Grays has played both corner outfield and corner infield. Initially chosen by the Twins in 2019, the Ohio native spent four years with their organization including two at Double-A or higher. Gray hit .260 with nine homers, 37 RBIs and 14 steals with Double-A Wichita last year and played in 379 games over his time in the Twins system, hitting 48 homers. Gray was selected 119th overall out of Wright State where he was a three-time all-conference selection, batting .351 as a senior with 70 RBIs, 15th in the nation, while helping the team to 42 victories.
