The Boomers and Manager Jamie Bennett have added two new RHP's for the 2025 Season with the signings of Dylan Kirkeby and Dwayne Matos. This will be both of their first seasons in the Frontier League.

Dylan Kirkeby arrives in Schaumburg for his first professional baseball season after playing his collegiate baseball at Northwestern College in Orange City, IA. In his five years with the Red Raiders, Dylan posted a record of 13-15 in 46 starts with an ERA of 4.63. Dylan also threw 4 complete games, in which 2 of the were complete game shutouts. Over his 5 years, the Brandon, SD native, was a 2-time First Team All Conference selection and an Honorable Mention All-Conference Selection.

Dwayne Matos comes to the Boomers after 5 years in the San Diego Padres minor league system. Matos joined the Padres Donminican Summer League during the 2019 season. During that season, he went 2-3 over 18 games and posted an ERA of 3.74. Over the next 4 season, Matos spent time between the Lake Elsinore Storm, San Antonio Missions, and Fort Wayne Tin Caps. In his career, Dwayne stuck out 227 batters, mainly appearing out of the bullpen.
