SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The first-place Schaumburg Boomers begin the regular season’s final month with Fireworks Friday, a backpack giveaway and post-game autographs as the defending champion Joliet Slammers invade Schaumburg for a three-game series beginning Friday, August 3rd at 6:30 p.m.

The Boomers pick up right where they left off last weekend. After a series sweep and fireworks concluded a fun homestand last Friday, the sky above Boomers Stadium will be ablaze with another outstanding show by our friends at Melrose Pyrotechnics after the 6:30 p.m. game on Friday, August 3 against the Joliet Slammers. Join us as we play all your favorite hits as a part of Country Music Night and come back on Saturday for a free drawstring backpack for the first 1,500 fans!

August 4 is also Back-2-School Night so what better way to wrap up the summer than with a Boomers game?
