The Schaumburg Boomers are thrilled to announce the re-signing of OF Aaron Simmons to a contract extension for the 2025 season. Aaron Simmons was a staple in the Schaumburg outfield during the 2024 season.

Simmons returns to Schaumburg after a productive first season in Schaumburg. 2024 was his most successful season in his 3 year professional carreer. Aaron, a native of Franklin, Wis, appeared in 80 games for the Boomers, where he hit for an avager of .273 with 12 home runs and 54 RBIs. He also collected 3 triples. On June 16th, Aaron stunned the Washington Wild Things with a walkoff homerun, his second of the day,completeing a 5 run 9th inning. His 12 home runs lead the team for the 2024 season.
