Rain descended in Washington, Pennsylvania for an hour on an artificial turf field around 6:30pm and the scheduled game on Saturday night between the Boomers and Wild Things was postponed due to the rain before 8pm local time, sending the fate of the 2024 season for the Schaumburg Boomers to the final day even though no rain has fallen since.

The teams will play two seven-inning games at 3:05pm Eastern on Sunday with the Boomers likely needing to sweep.
