New Food Options at Wintrust Field
SCHAUMBURG, IL - With the 2024 Frontier League season set to start in May, the Schaumburg Boomers announce the new food options for this summer.
“Every year we look to not only offer a great on-field product but the best possible stadium experience. This year’s focus includes some great new menu options but also a lot of new upgrades both for fans on the concourse level and the group spaces” said Executive Vice President & General Manager Michael Larson.
New items in the concession stands are headlined by the Big Chicago – a twist on the Chicago style hot dog…with a jumbo foot long hot dog, mustard, tomatoes, peppers, diced onions, pickle spears, and celery salt. Joining the Big Chicago on the menu is a new Italian Beef sandwich, Italian Sausage, and Italian combo. Returning in 2024 is the fan favorite pulled pork sandwich with crispy fried onions & BBQ sauce.
“The food & beverage team is excited to enhance the quality of the concessions and fan experience through new variety and updated amenities this year” said Director of Food & Beverage Ryan Dominick, entering his second season with the Boomers.
In addition to the new Left Field Party Deck and new Kids Zone presented by Amazon Fresh, the left field line will also add a new dessert option to the ballpark. Joining the food lineup is The Creamery who will bring their great ice cream products to Wintrust Field including jumbo ice cream sandwiches, ice cream nachos, and more.
All the fan favorites from last year are back including Ben’s Pretzels (with expanded operations), Dippin Dots, Walking Taco (with new topping options), and beer options from Goose Island, Church Street, Spiteful Brewing, and Anheuser-Busch.
The suite level will feature a brand-new dessert & coffee bar located within the Jim Beam Club. The new bar will feature cakes, a sundae bar, cookies, coffee, espresso, nitro cold brew, and more. “People will be really impressed with the new offerings, and we get to continue to provide guests with a truly unique experience” said Zoe Binder, Hospitality Coordinator.
The group catering menu features many operational upgrades with a new Schaumburg Club, Left Field Party Deck, and picnic area.
Head Chef Kyle Miller has also put together some new features, including borrowing from our Director of Ticket Operations Abi’s great-grandmother’s best recipes. “We continue to raise the bar each year and I’m excited for our fans to have all these new menu items to choose from” said Miller.
New food items on the suite level include jumbo stuffed shells using Great-Grandma Vito’s special recipe, Bavarian soft pretzels with homemade beer cheese, and The Closer – a burger topped with fried jalapeno chips, grilled onions, poblano peppers, & beer cheese.
