The Schaumburg Boomers and Manager Jamie Bennett are excited to announce the re-signing of another player that shattered a Frontier League record last season and fan favorite, Chase Dawson. Chase will be back for fourth season with the Boomers.

Dawson returns to the Boomers fresh off a historic season in 2022 in which he batted .310 with 5 homeruns with 64 RBI’s. More notably, Chase set the Frontier League record with a staggering 24 triples in 95 games. The previous record was 16 triples, set in 2006 by Chris Sidick. Chase set the record in only 51 games. Over his career, Dawson has 34 three baggers. To go along with these stats, Chase stole 23 bases when he wasn’t hitting triples. The Chesterton, IN native looks to add to his stats as he leads the team on to the field in 2023 at Wintrust Field.
