Bennett Adds Utility Player to Roster
Schaumburg, IL – The Schaumburg Boomers have signed utility player Parker Depasquale. UT Parker Depasqualue will be entering his first season with the club, and looking to help the Boomers defend their 2021 Frontier League Championship.
Depasquale, the native out of Salt Lake City, UT, attended Texas A&M Texarkana, where he played just one year for the Eagles baseball team, where he batted .234 with an on-base percentage of .331 in 46 games. During the 2021 season, Depasquale played for the Santa Fe Fuego of the Pecos League before being traded to the Billings Mustangs, who are a part of the Pioneer League.
“Very excited to have Parker come in and watch him compete. He’s worked very hard and put up the numbers to earn this opportunity. He gives us some versatility on defense and can do a lot of things on the offensive side,” said Manager Jamie Bennett.
The Boomers return home to Wintrust Field in the spring looking to defend their 2021 Frontier League Championship.
