Schaumburg, IL - The Schaumburg Boomers have added another new face to the roster for the 2022 season. RHP Chris Mutter Jr. is set to come out of the bullpen for the defending Frontier League Champs next year. 

 RHP Chris Mutter Jr. will be entering his first year with the Boomers. The native out of Cleves, OH, played his entire college career at Lake Erie College, located in Painesville, OH. For his carerer with the Storm, Mutter appeared in 59 games and amassing 77 innings pitched . In those 77 innings, Mutter struck out 95 batters with a 7.71 ERA.

 “We are excited to give Chris an opportunity with us. He has shown some success at the college level in late innings. Late inning experience is always valuable,” said Manager Jamie Bennett.

 The Boomers return home to Wintrust Field this summer, looking to defend their 2021 Frontier League Championship.
