Beth A. Heffernan joined Salvi Sports Enterprises, LLC ("Salvi Sports") in February 2012 and serves as Vice President and General Counsel of the Schaumburg Boomers (Frontier League), Gary SouthShore RailCats (American Association), and North Shore Navigators (Futures Collegiate Baseball League). In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all of the legal affairs and business development activities of each franchise, as well as Salvi Sports. With a background in business consulting, accounting and corporate taxation, Heffernan also provides counsel and strategic advice relating to potential acquisitions, including due diligence evaluations and financial analysis. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Homefield Advantage Foundation, a non-profit organization that’s mission is to advance social and educational opportunities for the youth of Gary, Indiana.

Heffernan received her Bachelors Degree in Communications, cum laude, from Arizona State University and earned her Juris Doctor along with a Masters of Law in Taxation from The John Marshall Law School. While in law school, she interned at the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service and studied Comparative Constitutional Law and International Trade Law at the University of Nairobi, College of Law, in Kenya.

Prior to joining Salvi Sports, Heffernan was Tax Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP and Associate at KPMG LLP. During her tenure with KPMG, she worked abroad in the firm's Sao Paulo, Brazil office, advising multinational clients on inbound and outbound tax planning strategies.

Heffernan currently resides on the north side of Chicago, IL.
