Jeff Ney joined the Schaumburg Boomers as Vice President of Corporate Sales in September 2011, after serving as the Assistant General Manager of the Kane County Cougars. Ney is excited to be a part of the Boomers inaugural season as they work to build the franchise. He is committed to creating a fun, family-friendly, affordable experience for each and every customer. 

Baseball has been a part of Ney’s life from childhood. He is a seasoned veteran of professional baseball, having spent the past eighteen years doing marketing, sales, and promotions for the Cougars. Prior to that, he played ball for Stevenson High School and later for the club team at Northern Illinois University.

Currently making his home in North Aurora, IL, Ney was born in Chicago and grew up in Buffalo Grove. 

He has both jumped out of and piloted an airplane in his lifetime.
